On the morning of May 28, 2024, our General Manager Jelin (a 2011 graduate student from Guangdong University of Finance and Economics), together with Chen Zhixuan, Chairman of Guangzhou Xiaoxiao Carbon Asset Management Co., Ltd., visited Guangdong University of Finance and Economics for an exchange. They were warmly received by Duan Dan, Director of the Alumni Office, Cai Weixing, Dean of the School of Finance, Chen Muhe, Party Secretary, and Li Yaqing, Deputy Dean. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on collaboratively cultivating high-end carbon finance talents, building a carbon finance cooperation platform, and enhancing international exchanges in China-Sweden  carbon finance education.

Our General Manager Jelin and Chairman Chen Zhixuan respectively introduced the current status of EU carbon policies, the development of the Swedish carbon market, and the main work and achievements of the Swedish Carbon Trading Management Company in assisting Chinese enterprises in responding to EU carbon regulations. They emphasized the vast space and great potential for China-Sweden carbon finance cooperation. Director Duan Dan briefly introduced the development of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, while Dean Cai Weixing provided a detailed overview of the construction of the finance discipline, research and teaching work in the field of green finance, and plans for future for China-Sweden carbon finance cooperation.

Both parties jointly held an unveiling ceremony for the for China-Sweden Carbon Finance Research Institute. Jelin and Dean Cai Weixing jointly signed a cooperation agreement, and Director Duan Dan awarded Jelin an appointment letter as an external financial mentor. Jelin stated that this opportunity would strengthen ties with her mater and contribute to promoting in-depth cooperation in carbon market trading, carbon finance talent cultivation, and international exchanges in for China-Sweden carbon finance education.

Since its establishment, our company has been committed to promoting exchanges and cooperation in the for China-Sweden carbon finance field, establishing cooperative relationships with many enterprises and institutions. The joint establishment of the for China-Sweden Carbon Finance Research Institute with the School of Finance at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics has laid a solid foundation for comprehensive cooperation in the field of carbon finance.
