On August 29, 2024, the Ångström Advanced Battery Centre (ÅABC) at Uppsala University successfully hosted a grand battery conference to celebrate the 80th birthday of the solid-state electrochemistry professor and founder of ÅABC, Josh Thomas. The conference brought together top scientists and experts in the battery research field from countries such as Sweden, the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Poland, and Japan. Our General Manager, Jelin, was invited to attend the event and engage in discussions on the forefront of battery technology and future development directions.
Professor Josh Thomas is a leading figure in global battery technology research, dedicated to the study of battery technology and energy storage. He has extensive research experience in the fields of electrochemistry and materials science, focusing particularly on the development and optimization of advanced battery materials and systems to enhance battery performance, safety, and sustainability.
