Our General Manager Jelin Appointed as External Advisor at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics

On the morning of May 28, 2024, Chairman Chen Zhixuan and General Manager Jelin of our company were invited to visit Guangdong University of Finance and Economics (hereinafter referred to as "GUFE") for an exchange session. They were warmly received by Duan Dan, Director of the Alumni Office, Cai Weixing, Dean of the School of Finance, Party Secretary Chen Muhe, and Vice Dean Li Yaqing. Both parties engaged in deep discussions on the joint cultivation of high-end talents in carbon finance, the establishment of a carbon finance cooperation platform, and the strengthening of international exchanges in carbon finance education between China and Sweden.

Chairman Chen Zhixuan and General Manager Jelin each introduced the current status of EU carbon policies, the development of the Swedish carbon market, and our company's major efforts and achievements in helping Chinese enterprises respond to EU carbon regulations. They emphasized the broad and promising prospects for Sino-Swedish cooperation in carbon finance. Director Duan Dan provided an overview of the development of GUFE, while Dean Cai Weixing gave a detailed introduction to the construction of the finance discipline, research and teaching work in green finance, and plans for future China-Sweden cooperation in carbon finance.

During the visit, both parties jointly held the inauguration ceremony of theChina-Sweden Carbon Finance Research Institute. General Manager Jelin and Dean Cai Weixing signed a letter of intent for cooperation, and Director Duan Dan presented Jelin with the appointment certificate as an external advisor for finance. General Manager Jelin expressed a commitment to strengthening cooperation with her alma mater and jointly promoting coordinated development in carbon market trading, carbon finance talent cultivation, and China-Sweden exchanges in carbon finance education.

Since its establishment, our company has been committed to promoting exchanges and cooperation in the field of carbon finance between China and Sweden. The establishment of the China-Sweden Carbon Finance Research Institute in collaboration with the School of Finance at GUFE lays a solid foundation for comprehensive cooperation in the field of carbon finance between the two parties.
