The core idea of carbon offsetting is to offset the emissions already produced by achieving an equivalent reduction elsewhere or by other means. This can be done by supporting environmental projects, investing in renewable energy, forest conservation, and promoting energy efficiency.
We and our partners provide water purification devices to schools, households, and communities in the least developed countries recognized by the United Nations, thereby replacing traditional cooking methods such as three-stone stoves. This not only improves their quality of life but also helps reduce deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions.
We have developed 17 international voluntary emission reduction projects in countries such as Rwanda, Senegal, Madagascar, Kenya, Bangladesh, Cambodia.
The use of traditional cooking methods, especially those using wood or charcoal as fuel, has a severe impact on the environment. Not only does it lead to deforestation, damaging ecosystems, but it also releases significant amounts of greenhouse gases such as CO2, exacerbating climate change issues. Therefore, by introducing water purification devices to replace traditional cooking methods, we can achieve dual benefits of environmental protection and mitigating climate change.
Through this initiative, we aim to enhance the quality of life for communities while also addressing environmental challenges.
